Fast, ferocious and uncompromising, Black Fork was an East Bay punk band that was most active between 1993 and 1998. They were poor and snotty and usually drunk, but their live show was an epic barrage of volume, fun and friendly aggression. They toured the U.S. several times and regularly headlined 924 Gilman, playing with bands such as Dead and Gone, The Criminals, AFI, Screw 32, Pissjar and Rancid.

Rock For Loot was recorded by Billie Joe Armstrong and released by Lookout! Records in 1997, This would be Black Fork's first LP and last non-posthumous release.
