about

In 1994, AFI were just another East Bay punk band that played Gilman every couple of weeks, along with Black Fork and the rest of the bands on this comp. Styled after the classic 12" "This is Boston Not L.A.", this 7" by Zafio Records (run by Blatz frontman Jesse Townley) was a lighthearted attempt to document what was then going on in the East Bay scene. Since the original 7" of this is rare and expensive, Zafio repressed it in 2014.
